As a premier faux painting contractor, I am committed to delivering customer service that is second to none. I offer a wide range of services to meet your residential and commercial painting needs. Big job or small, I have you covered. I specialize in custom paint finishes for walls, cabinets, and furniture. I, Kimberly James, can help you create a special look for any room in your home, office, or vacation home. I use only the best products that are safe and can give the best results. During our consultation, I will help you with color selection, finish choice, and show you examples of my work and portfolio to help you with your decision.
Experience
I have an Art Education degree, I've attended Faux Works Studio in High Point NC and have been trained in the Faux Effects International's line of faux finish products. I have taken classes in urban finishes, classic old world finishes, and furniture finishes. I have also taken classes with American Clay and Im able to work with their beautiful line of eco friendly earth plasters.
I have been extremely fortunate in the last 4 years to work for Filmwerks Intl. And Fox NFL Network on their interview sets for Super bowls 2018 , 2019 , 2020 , 2021 and NFL Draft set 2019! All were incredible experiences. I have also been a set painter for EUE Screen Gems studios here in NC. I have worked on Marvel's Iron Man 3, The TV series One Tree Hill season 7&9, Sleepy Hollow season 2 and I have painted TV sets for Swirl Films when they were located in Wilmington NC. I love working in homes, businesses and in the film industry and I feel fortunate get to do what I love on a daily basis.
